Van Miller

Van Albert Miller, 61 was born on  September 18, 1959 in Independence, Louisiana. Van departed this life on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at North Oaks Medical Center.

He met and married Martha Lavern Hills on January 8, 1983 and was happily married for over 38 years. Two wonderful children blossomed from this union, Larry and VanToya.

Van leaves to cherish his wonderful   memories: his loving and devoted wife, Martha Miller; two children, VanToya (Terrell Clark)  Miller and Larry (Charlotte) Henry; six grandchildren; siblings: Earl (Shaun) Miller, Joyce (Chris) Breaux, Gayle (Tommy) Franklin, Michael (April) Miller and Alfred Miller;  two brothers-in-law, Timothy (Monica) Hills and Kentrell Hills; three sisters-in-laws, Annie B. Miller, Marilyn Charles and Alicsha Kade and a host of other   relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Verlean Robertson Miller and a sister.
