Tammy Terrell Major was born on September 29, 1983 to Ethel Green Major and the late Charlie Major in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Zion City Baptist Church.

She departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Tammy leaves her precious memories to her mother: Ethel Major; special friend, Ronnie Fondren; daughter, Teriana Major; two sons, Charlie Major & Trevion Major; three sisters, Tujuana Major (Daniel), Linda Major and Mary Major (Julius); four stepsisters, Angela Lee McCallop Longino (Gerald) of Killeen, Texas, Victoria (Oakley) Lewis, Acquelyn (Tony) Knighton and Kimberly (Anthony) Collion; two special sisters, Wilma Rayford and Veronica Ricks Clark; three stepbrothers, Donald Ray McCallop, Anthony (Carolyn) McCallop and David (Tammy) McCallop three aunts, Joyce Green, Pamela Watkins and Pamela Dillion; two uncles, Cllifton Green and Robert Green; two granddaughters, Siyanna Clark and Jancia Major; a special great niece, Tytana Dersena and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Ray Major; brother, Tyrone Green; two uncles, Timothy Dillion and Sam Green; five aunts, Dorothy Green, Rosa Green, Leola Green, Lillie Green and Patricia Major.
