Steven Daniel Turnbull

With deep sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Steven Daniel Turnbull Sr., known to most as Stevie. He passed away on July 14, 2025, leaving behind a life full of laughter, love, and memories that won't soon be forgotten.

Stevie was a man whose loud laugh, sharp wit, and generous heart made a lasting impression on just about everyone he met. He didn't just walk into a room, he filled it, usually with a joke, a story, or that unforgettable laugh of his. 

He was the loving husband of Celeste Turnbull, his partner in life and his biggest supporter. Together they shared years of love, laughter, and the kind of bond that can't be broken. 

Stevie was the son of Wayne Turnbull and the late Barbara Turnbull. He leaves behind his father, Wayne, Stepmother, Cindy Turnbull, and his sister, Barbara Simon, all of whom he loved deeply. 

A proud father to his sons, Steven and Sean Turnbull, and Godfather to  Whitney O'Brien. Stevie's greatest joy came from being Paw Paw to his grandkids: Gage, Steven, Skylar, Awereigh, and Sadie. He adored them with all he had. Nothing brought him more happiness than making them laugh or telling them a story they'd carry with them forever. 

Family meant everything to Stevie. He showed it in the way he loved, the way he gave his time, and the way he always made sure folks knew they mattered. He was their rock, their storyteller, and their biggest cheerleader. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Stevie wasn't one to sit quiet or stay still. He had a voice that carried, a laugh that could shake the walls, and a spirit that made people feel at home. He told stories like nobody else could turn an ordinary day into something special just by being there. 

Though he's gone from this world, the love, joy, and laughter he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He was truly one of a kind, and his memory will live on, strong as ever.
