Sam Ulysses Stovall was born June 30,1969 to Elnora and Ruffin Brown in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Sam attended school in the East Baton Rouge School System and later received his diploma from Zion City Voctech School. Sam received Christ at an early age. Sam worked for BFI for over 15 years and before his passing he worked at Amazon where his short stay made a big impression on those who worked on side of him.
Sam loved and cherished his family, always had a smile on his face, he loved life, he loved dancing and singing and always had a good joke. Sam was a great Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle.
Sam leaves to cherish his memories of nine kids: Ashley Mitchell,, Sam Mitchell, Cornelius Bell, Christopher Stovall, Fayth Eisley, Girbaud Eisley, Kobe Stovall, Michael Stovall, and Kehlani Stovall all of Baton Rouge; eleven grandkids, Mychal Lewis, Malachi Snowden, Makhi Mitchell, Marlee Mitchell Denyhm Edmonds, Christopher Stovall Jr, Chadler Stovall, Malik Perkins, A’myracle Eisley, Avery Williams, Jr. and Ayden Williams all of Baton Rouge.; three Sisters, Trudy Stovall, Lula Scott, and Stephanie Johnson all of Baton Rouge; one brother, Alton Stovall of Baton Rouge; five nephews, six nieces; a special friend and a host of cousins.
Sam departed this earthly life on Monday, December 08 ,2025. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father Elnora and Ruffin Brown, his sister, Lillie AKA April Pollard and his grandparents.
