Roxanne Goubert Nunez

Roxanne Goubert Nunez, affectionately known as Anna to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, at the age of 58 in Westwego, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 22, 1967, in the city of New Orleans. She was the daughter of the late August Joseph Goubert and Dawn Lovell Trahant Fagan.

Anna faced life's challenges with courage and determination. She was an avid reader, often found with a book in her hand, lost in worlds of mystery, romance and adventure. Anna's love for her dogs, horses and birds was profound, and she found great happiness in the company of her beloved pets throughout her life.

Predeceased by her husband, Juan Nunez, Anna's legacy continues through her cherished children: Michael Jr. (Samatha), Linsey (Eduardo), Kaitlyn, Verra Kae and six grandchildren. She shared with them her love for literature and animals, instilling in them the same passion and curiosity that she carried throughout her life. She shared a lifelong bond with her siblings, who were among her greatest treasures.
