Nathaniel Kinchen a.k.a “Nate” was born on September 15, 1945, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late Mr. Alfred and Lucille Kinchen. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 3, 2025 surrounded with love and care.
Nate attended Capitol High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He later furthered his education and became a self taught Electrician. He accepted Christ as his Personal Savior and was at the New Hope Baptist Church.
He was employed by RCO Entergy Power as an Electrician for over 30 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed taking care of his mother’s grave, listening to music and yard work.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Sr. and Lucille Kinchen; five brothers, Herbert, Eddie, Issac, Jimmy and Paul Kinchen; two sisters, Hellen, Stella and Bertha Kinchen and one niece, Keisha Kinchen.
“Nate” leaves to cherish his loving memories with his three daughters, Romona (Charles) Sanders, Erica Jones and Latasha Kinchen; three sons, Curtis (Pepper) Keaton, Corey Jones and Desmond Jones; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister, Estella Kinchen; two brothers, Joe Kinchen and Alfred Kinchen, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who loved him dearly.
