Michael Jerome Russell

Michael Jerome Russell, a brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born on January 3, 1969 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Michael was the son of the late Gloria M. Russell. He loved siting around playing cards, joking around with family members and friends, watcing western movies. Michael a devoted fan of his favorite team, Dallas Cowboys.

His memories will be cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by devoted siblings, his four sisters, Janie Anderson, Diana Russell, Lolita Russell and Lora Lee Russell, all of Baton Rouge, LA and two brothers: Richard Russell (Cheryl) of Zachary, LA and Henry B. Dorsey of Baton Rouge, LA; two devoted friends, Reginald Reese and Richard Gray and a host of other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria M. Russell; his grandmother, Iceola Wilson and grandfather, Ben Wilson.
