Marion Hollins Morgan a native of stamps Mississippi passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Marion Hollins Morgan was born on August 5th, 1937 to the late Annie and Henry Williams and Tom and Fannie Hollins. She graduated from Johnson high school. Marion enjoyed spending time with her with her family. To know Marion was to love her, she was the person to count on if you needed a good laugh . Marion accepted God at an early age and was baptized at Zion hill baptist church in woodvillie ms. Later in life Marion relocated to Baton Rouge La where she married the love of her life Adolph Morgan and where she resided until the lord called her home. Marion was a faithful Member of Elm Groove Baptist church. From the union of Marion’s and Adolph marriage were 5 children Una , Evalery, Effrem, Trellis and Shannon Morgan.
Marion leaves to cherish her memories : her son Trellis Morgan I , Her two daughters Una and Shannon Morgan , Her grandkids Evalery Jr, Shanetria Morgan , Ashley Lewis , Cameron Morgan , KeMeshaya McIntyre , Myesha Morgan , Terry Hills jr , Trellis Morgan II, Tarius Morgan, Taylor Morgan , Uzuri Thompson , Ulan Thompson and Tyrin Morgan. Her brothers Douglas Williams Sr (Gloria), Huey Hollins .Her sisters Inez Allen ( Melvin), Deborah Badon, Frances Alexander ,Kitty Hollins , Mamie Hollins, Thomas Anne Hollins , Linda Hollins and Margaret Terry. Great grand kids Dylan Morgan, Zoie Reed, Zayda Selvage , Cameron Morgan Jr, El’Niyah McIntyre, and Cairo Sweet.
The family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers at St. Claire manor nursing facility and a special thanks to Mrs Lorie.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Annie and Henry Williams and Tom and Fanny Hollins , Her husband Adolph Morgan , her two sons Evalery Morgan Sr. And Effrem morgan. Siblings Walter Williams (Dr. Etta) Lillian Russell (Ralph ) Carrie Johnson (Vary), Henry Williams (Marguerite) , Nzingha Shabaka , Dehlia White, Louis Bailey , George Hollins, Johnether Hunter.
