Lois Delane Buxton Giles, 68, was born on November 8, 1952 and is preceded in death by her father and mother, Hubbard and Maggie Buxton of Oakdale, Louisiana; three sisters, Ruth Bond of Oakdale, Carolyn Musle White of Pitkin, Louisiana and Elaine Whittington of Hammond, Louisiana. Sister Lois Giles entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 10, 2021 at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, Louisiana.
She lived in Hammond, Louisiana and was a minister of the Gospel serving God for over fifty-three years. She was a wife and a loving mother.
Sister Lois is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Bishop Randy Giles of Hammond, Louisiana; five children, Sabrena (Keith) Norris of Albany, Louisiana, Crystal (Joseph) Crawford of Hammond, Louisiana, Jamie (Jason) Garon of Hammond, Louisiana, Micah (Judy) Giles of Hammond, Louisiana and Elijah (Tabitha) Giles of Hammond, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, Randall, Cody, Miracle, Victoria, Savannah, Kaydon, Braydon, Silas and Madison and seven great grandchildren; her siblings, Jeanette Horton of Henderson, Texas, Leavell Hutchinson of Oakdale, Louisiana, Laverne Nichols of Oakdale, Louisiana, Louise Johnson of Elizabeth, Louisiana and Yvonne Swarts of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her pallbearers will be Micah Giles, Elijah Giles, Cody Delay, Silas Giles, Kaydon Giles and Braydon Giles.
