Lennis Tyrone Penn, Jr., 20 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 in McKinney, Texas. He was born on May 14, 2002 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Kawonas Brown and Lennis Tyrone Penn, Sr.

A visitation will be held from  9:00 A.M. until religious service beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Glen Oaks Baptist Church, 7200 Maplewood Drive, Baton Rouge. Pastor Marvin Parks, Senior Pastor and Minister Vanessa Hayward, Officiating andEulogist. Interment will take place at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 5500 McClelland Drive, Baton Rouge.

His memories will forever be cherished by his mother, Kawonas Shantae Jones (Daniel); his father, Lennis T. Penn, Sr.; brother, Jamyron Brown;  sister, Erica Penn; grandmothers, Erica Brown and Shelia Penn; one niece, Kamiyah; two nephews, Tristan and True; two aunts, Karescia and Blossom; four uncles, James, Jeremy, Johnathan andJaylen; God-mother, Rosaline Bradford and a host of great aunts, great uncles, other relatives and friends.

The family will assemble at 6220 Pontotoc Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70812.
