Juanita Rechell Bolton, age 54, of New Augusta, Mississippi, peacefully transitioned on January 22, 2026, after a courageous and extended battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Juanita was born on December 18, 1971, in New Augusta, Mississippi, to the late James and Levon Witt. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and faithful friend whose life reflected unwavering dedication to Jesus Christ and deep love for her family. Known for her “Great Cooking”, warm smile, kind spirit, and steadfast faith, Juanita touched the lives of all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, John H. Bolton; her children, Shyiona Rice, John K. Bolton (Anneva Bolton), Alonzo Bolton and her bonus daughter, Ashley Bradley. Juanita was a proud and loving grandmother to Josiah Bolton (14), Alaysia Bolton (10), Eli Morrison (6), Jacob Bolton (2), and Addison Juanita Bolton (2 weeks). She also leaves cherished bonus grandchildren Raykwon Riley (21), Ashtyn Bradley (19), and Chanler Bradley (16).
She is further survived by her siblings Denise Witt, James S. Witt, Christopher Witt (Tiffany Witt), Shameka Bolton (Greg Bolton), and Tangie Young (Lindon Young), along with eight nieces, nine nephews, and a host of great-nieces andgreat-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Juanita’s life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and unconditional love. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of devotion, strength, and grace will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
