Jessica Jean Gentelie

Jessica Jean Gentelie, age 38, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at North Oaks Hospital. Born with a bright spirit and a heart full of warmth, Jessica—affectionately known as “Red”—brought joy and light to everyone blessed to know her.

Jessica was a kind, loving, funny, and sweet soul. She never met a stranger, welcoming others with her open heart and friendly nature. She especially cherished time spent talking with her family, creating bonds that were as meaningful as they were enduring. Her presence was comforting, her laughter contagious, and her ability to make others feel loved was one of her greatest gifts.

She is survived by her devoted father, Eugene “E.J.” Gentelie, Jr., as well as many aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Jessica shared a special daily connection with her aunt, Joy (Mike) Gaude, and her uncle, Peter Ferguson, whose love and companionship meant the world to her.

A Memorial Service honoring Jessica’s life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Robert Front Porch Ministries, 23151 US-190, Robert, Louisiana, beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor Darryl Morse will officiate.

Jessica’s gentle spirit, radiant personality, and the unconditional love she shared will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Her sweetness, humor, and unwavering love will remain cherished by all who knew her.
