Horace O. Crotts, a retired Diesel Mechanic, passed away in Hammond, LA on October 5, 2023. He was born in Whitmire, SC on July 1, 1954. Horace was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many.

The son of Horace Odell Crotts Sr. and Margaret Finney Crotts, Horace grew up surrounded by love and strong family values. From an early age, he displayed an innate curiosity and aptitude for mechanical systems. This passion led him to pursue a career as a Diesel Mechanic.

Horace devoted many years of his life to his profession, where he honed his skills and became highly regarded by colleagues and clients alike. He possessed an exceptional work ethic and was known for his attention to detail and meticulous approach to his craft. Throughout his career, Horace's expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing engine problems earned him a stellar reputation within the industry.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Horace was a warm-hearted man who valued the relationships he cultivated over the years. He had a deep love and adoration for his wife Joyce M. Crotts and they shared countless memorable moments together. Their bond served as a pillar of strength throughout their lives.
