Elizah Pierson

Elizah Lee Pierson, Sr. a native of Alsen and resident of Brusly, departed this life peacefully on Saturday December 20 2025.

Elizah was a graduate of Scotlandville High School. Elizah was not a stranger to hard work, he always had at least two jobs. He was a faithful employee of Port Allen Marine, Earl K. Long Medical Center and Baton Rouge General Medical Center, retiring with over 40 years of service. He was the owner of Pierson Janitorial Services.

Known for his infectious laugh and love for family, Elizah worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed and most of the things they wanted. His passions ran deep – for GOD, his family, the San Francisco 49ners, and Southern University Football.

He was the devoted husband of Sandra LeJeune Pierson, the loving father to six children-daughters, Erika Pierson, Eureka Pierson Williams (Reginald) ; sons, Elizah Pierson, Jr.(Kuristen), Travis Pierson, Joshua Pierson (Nicole), Justin Pierson, Sr. (Brittany); His love and legacy will live on through a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Elizah is survived by one sister Rose Kaufman-Williams (John) and one brothers, Joseph Pierson and, as well as host of relatives and friends.
