Doris Delinda Wilkinson 61, was born on February 19, 1965 to Louise Wilkinson and the late John Edward Morgan in Smithdale, MS.
Doris aka Linda or Lynn accepted Christ at an early age when she was baptized at St. Mary Missionary Baptist in Livingston, LA.
Linda attended school in both Livingston and Tangipahoa Parish, her 12th grade year she decided that she wanted to finish school and have a trade at the same time, so she moved to Shreveport, LA and attend Jobs Corps where she received her GED and became a License Cosmetologist.
She departed this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at North Oaks Medical Center after losing the battle to Stage 1 & 3 Lung Cancer.
Doris (Linda) Wilkinson leaves to cherish her memories and wisdom her mother, Louise Tyler, three children, Breyon Wilkinson of Louisville, KY, Jamaria Wilkinson of DeRidder, LA and Ra'Kiya Wilkinson of Hammond, LA; one God Daughter, Aubree McCray; three sisters, Beneva (Fado) Winfield of Hammond, LA, Meyocha Betts of Shreveport, LA and LaShanta (Samuel) Conerly of Ponchatoula, LA; one brother, Steven (Stephanie) Tyler of Hammond, LA and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Doris (Linda) Wilkinson was proceeded in death by her father, John Edward Morgan; her Grandmother, Virgie Mae Wilkinson; her great grandparents, Ben and Idella Bell; her God-mother, Earlean Betts; her sister, Keronica (Katie) Hill and her brother, John F. Wilkinson.
