Donna Hill, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 56. Donna was surrounded by her loving family in Springfield, Louisiana during her final moments.

Donna was born on September 1, 1967, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She grew up in a warm and loving household with her parents Ruby and Hal Phipps. Donna's parents instilled in her the values of kindness, compassion, and hard work that would shape her life.

Education played a significant role in Donna's life. She attended college and earned a Bachelor's Degree before pursuing a career as a Paralegal. Donna's dedication and attention to detail made her an exceptional professional in her field.

Besides her successful professional life, Donna's greatest joy came from being a mother. She leaves behind three children who meant the world to her: Autumn Rachel Hill, Cherish Nicole Phipps, and Robert Wayne Hill. Donna cherished every moment spent with them and found immense happiness in watching them grow into remarkable individuals.

Not only was she an extraordinary mother, but Donna also embraced the role of grandmother with open arms. Her granddaughters Maia, Beth, and Reece held a special place in her heart. She loved showering them with affection and creating lasting memories together.

Family meant everything to Donna. Aside from her parents and children mentioned above, Donna leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Their presence brought joy to her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

In her free time, Donna enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors surrounded by nature's beauty. She had an incredible eye for interior design and could transform any space into something truly magical.

Friends remember Donna as someone who radiated warmth and kindness wherever she went. Her genuine smile brightened up any room, and her compassionate nature knew no bounds. Donna always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear to those in need.

To honor the life of Donna Hill, a memorial gathering will take place on February 2, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the family home located at 12514 Robert Duplessis Lane, Gonzales, LA 70737. This event will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and celebrate Donna's remarkable life.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength. She touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her memory will forever be cherished. As we mourn her passing, let us also remember the joy she brought into our lives and the lessons she taught us by living a life filled with kindness and grace.
