S.L. Booker Family Funeral Services and Family with great sadness announces the passing of Derrick D. Ross, 38,  of Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Derrick will remain in our hearts forever and be remembered for bringing laughter and a smile to everyone who knew him.

Derrick leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving mother, Pennie (Melvin), fiancé Kaosha, sister Shatina (Thomas), brothers Willie and Christopher, sons Derrick, Devin and Malachi, stepdaughter KaiKai and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Derrick was preceded in death by his grandmother Ruby and brother Ronnie.
