Davian Kejuan Nicholas was born on May 28, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Though his time on earth was cut short on March 8, 2026.
Davian was a bright and loving child with a beautiful smile and a kind heart. He brought happiness to his family and friends and will always be remembered for the light he brought into every room.
Davian had a curious mind and a big imagination. He believed that life was infinite beyond the galaxy and mankind. He enjoyed nurturing and caring for younger children and had a naturally loving and gentle spirit.
Davian attended Tanners Creek Elementary School in Norfolk, Virginia, and Shannon Hills Elementary School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His favorite subjects were math and science, and he had a special love for numbers.
Davian loved seafood, playing basketball, and video games. He often talked about his dreams of becoming a professional gamer one day and also working at a bank. One of his favorite things to do was cooking pancakes, something that always brought him joy. He also loved watching his favorite movies, Toy Story and The Incredibles. He enjoyed traveling and was especially proud of flying on an airplane by himself since he was three years old.
Davian leaves to cherish his loving memory his parents, Kamicka Nicholas and David Heffner; five brothers: Ja’Kobi Nicholas, D’Wayne Tumblin, Ja’Khyi Nicholas, Ji’Key Nicholas, and Treyvon Hart Jr, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one god-sister, Jude Hollins of Dallas, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Tammy N. Smith of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; paternal grandparents, Esther Knight and David White of Natchez, Mississippi; eight aunts: Katrina (Val) Culbreth, Samantha Price, and Kiaira Nicholas, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Audrey Heffner of Norfolk, Virginia; Daphne Heffner, Andrea (Dwight) Berry, Taneka White, and Jordan White, all of Natchez, Mississippi; five uncles: Samuel Nicholas of Houston, Texas; Michael Hatch of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Eric Heffner, Markie White, and James Dixon, all of Natchez, Mississippi; his godfather, Rodriques Gathier of Baton Rouge, Louisiana;his godmother, Tameka Polk of Baton Rouge, Louisiana along with a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Davian was preceded in death by his uncle, David White.
