Archie Lee Elzey Jr.

Archie Lee Elzey, Jr. was born on October 23, 2003, to Ka’Ron Laverne Cheatem Elzey and Archie Lee Elzey, Sr. in Hammond, Louisiana.

Archie, affectionately called “Doula” enjoyed PSP, Basketball, riding around and spending time with his and parents. He was employed with Tope La Restaurant, but also had worked for Sanderson Farms and other fast food restaurants. On Friday, September 12, 2025, “Doula” passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Cherished memories of Archie will remain in the hearts of his son, Jayceon Ty’shon Ni hols; his parents, Archie, Sr. and Ka’Ron Elzey; siblings, Key’Anna Katrice Ratliff (Shawna), Ir’vanna Key’shawn Polite; grandfather, Sherwood Brumfield; aunt, Sharon Elzey; uncles, Joseph Cheatem, Jr., Sherwood Elzey, Robert Elzey and George Broadway and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Ken’Yatta Ken’Tray Polite; grandparents,Claudette Lavern Cheatem, Joseph Edward Cheatem, Sr. and Linda Ann Elzey; uncle, Sedrick Elzey.
