Bishop Alvin Ray Daniels, a beloved figure in the community, passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born on August 27, 1954, in Greenville, NC, and his journey came to an end in Jefferson, LA.

Bishop Daniels dedicated his life to spreading love, compassion, and faith. He impacted countless lives through his work as a spiritual leader and left behind a lasting legacy that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The services to honor Bishop Alvin Ray Daniels will take place on September 30, 2023. A viewing will be held at Progressive Free Will Baptist Church in Greenville, NC from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during this time.

Following the viewing, a Celebration of Life ceremony will commence at the same location from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. This will be a joyous occasion where Bishop Daniels' life accomplishments and the positive impact he made on others will be celebrated. It is a time for friends and family to come together and share their heartfelt memories of their beloved Bishop.

Subsequently, an interment service will be held at Homestead Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Greenville, NC from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM. It is here that we will bid our final farewell to Bishop Daniels as he is laid to rest.

Bishop Alvin Ray Daniels leaves behind one daughter, Nicolette Ebron of Greenville, NC; one brother Ronald Hayes of Delaware; two sisters Minister Diane Scotton and Evangelist Phyllis Moore; as well as a host of other relatives and friends who were deeply touched by his kindness and wisdom. His memory will forever reside within their hearts.

As we mourn the loss of Bishop Daniels' physical presence among us, let us also remember the profound impact he had on our lives. His tireless efforts to inspire, guide, and uplift others will continue to resonate with us all. Bishop Alvin Ray Daniels will forever be remembered as a beacon of light and love in our community.

In honor of his memory, let us carry forward his teachings and continue to spread compassion and understanding wherever we go. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
